Hawkesbury Police Area Command would like to honour, 12-year-old Craig Black for his Play-Doh efforts, a staggering 1660 pots to be donated to The Children's Hospital at Westmead! In today's society, we often hear the term "hero" applied to a sportsperson or a movie star. Tonight, Hawkesbury Police Area Command would like to introduce you to a real hero, 12 year old Craig Black. For the second year in a row, Craig has conducted his own community drive to support the visit by Windsor Police to Westmead Children's Hospital.

This year, Craig has presented to Windsor Police an incredible 1660 tubs of Play-Doh to be part of the donation to the children at the hospital. One thousand, six hundred and sixty tubs of Play -Doh! Craig has arranged his own fund raising and gaining support from Nelly's Warriors in St Clair, his teachers from Plumpton High and also from the Toongabbie Hotel.

Craig dropped the Play-Doh to Windsor Police Station today and his contribution was warmly welcomed by the Commander, Detective Superintendent Jim Stewart. Mr Stewart said, "It is young people like Craig that are the future of our community. We are very humbled that he has gotten behind our drive to support the children at Westmead Children's Hospital and thank him very much for his contribution."

Our drive this year, with the support of hero's like Craig Black, promises to be the best ever. If you want to be a supporter like Craig, you can leave your donation at the front counter of Windsor Police Station up until 5pm on the 26 June.

Maintenance at all public hospitals has deteriorated ever since on site government employees for maintenance were got to rid of, replaced by more expensive subcontractors who had no idea of anything, such as changes made over the years to original plans.

You get a call claiming to be from the Tax Office stating that you owe them money. The caller threatens you with arrest or seizure of your assets if you don't pay immediately. They want payment in iTunes gift cards. Choose your preferred response. 🤔 ...

Option 3. Tag them along and waste as much of their time as possible.

I should really start answering unknown calls just to have the pleasure of laughing at them

Laugh, then hang up. Also block the number.

I laughed,,She asked me "why are you smiling"..Shows the lack of their English

I miss those old phones you could slam down....not the same ending a cell phone call..... 😀

Nah no fun in that, give it to a child and tell them it’s Santa lol

Ka Ren

I usually add a "F*** OFF" before hanging up.

I prefer to toy with them and get them nice and angry. Then i remind them. That if i did anything wrong. I'd be in custody of the federal police not talking to you a failure scammer. :)

I have no of those annoying NO buttons that I like to press repeatedly into the phone.

It's more fun to go along with them. Act scared & willing to give them anything they ask for. Waste their time, build up their hopes & let them down with a thud.

Happened to me. Told him I would ask my boss since I work for the Tax Office (not really) and if he could hold on a minute.. Promptly hung up!

I like option 3, play with them for a while. Keep them on the line so they can’t scam some poor person.

Kerry Weston

I love the calls! I make the so frustrated they end up hanging up on me. It’s like a sport! I love it haha It’s fun hey Rod!

Shawn Brien 😂

It’s like they don’t know that you can listen to all the music for 99 kroner per month. No. I don’t know what that is upsidedown money..

Hello NSW police, I got pulled over by one of you because officers thought i ran a red light, I tried to put in yellow though. Im waiting for fine, its been more than 2 week. I have saved $433. Can i use it now because you’re too late?

tell them to take a number and wait in line

When I received one of these calls, I thanked them for the warning which allowed me time to make my getaway.

A man has been charged after another man’s skull was fractured at Forster yesterday.

About 12.30pm (Monday 21 May,) a 25-year-old man went to a house in Forster Keys and asked to speak a female occupant.

The occupants of the house, an 18-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, refused to let the man inside; however, it’s alleged he climbed in through an open window.

The man became involved in an argument with the woman, who is known to him, that escalated into a physical fight.

The two men began to fight when it is further alleged the younger man was hit with as glass implement and had his finger bitten, almost severing it.

The 25-year-old man left the house and was stopped by police in Head Street where he became aggressive towards police. He refused treatment by NSW Ambulance paramedics and was arrested and taken to Port Macquarie Hospital for treatment for his injuries.

While he was being treated at the hospital, it is further alleged he spat at a nurse.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the house in Forster Keys and conveyed the younger man to Port Macquarie Hospital, where he is being treated for fractures to his skull and will undergo reconstruction surgery on his hand.

The 25-year-old man was taken to Port Macquarie Police Station and charged with assault (DV), assault, breach of AVO, special aggravated break and enter and malicious wounding.

He was refused bail at Taree Local Court and will be remanded in custody until his next appearance on 17 July 2018.

So that was the commotion at the roundabout yesterday afternoon. Pity the officers were too worried in talking to one another instead of doing some simple traffic management. A few close calls from drivers trying to get around the incident, as drivers had no idea what was happening ahead.
