Comment: If they did not see Pyongyang's latest manoeuvre coming, Trump and his team are more gullible than we imagined.

President Donald Trump is desperate for a flashy, big win in foreign policy after a series of less-than-successful stunts.

Sydney Roosters forward Dylan Napa has hit back at criticism of his tackle on Korbin Sims, saying he didn't intentionally lead with his head nor celebrated the resulting head clash. Napa was sin-binned for the incident at a crucial junction in the defeat against Brisbane Broncos, but has controversially escaped sanction from the match review committee.

"I did get criticised for showboating for a headclash, but it wasn't until after I saw the replay that I saw it was a head clash." - Dylan Napa.

At first I thought it was accidental but the more I look at it the way he leads with head like he did its reckless & dangerous not just for the ball runner also for him self that's not a normal tackling technique.

He can say that all he wants but it was intentional

As if he's gunna say it was intentional

Let's hope that the moron who called in this hoax gets charged and convicted with a criminal offence AND ... Is made to pay for: 1. The full cost of the emergency services response at maximum mark up rates. 2. Compensate ALL passengers for the inconvenience to them. 3. FULLY compensate the bus company for all their costs as a result of this incident -including the potential brand damage and loss of bookings. If that means that moron loses all his assets then so be it.

So there all padded up but the dogs got nothing to protect him from a blast if there hada bean one

ABC Brisbane I want to have a good reason for continuing to follow you on Facebook but posts like this make it very difficult indeed

You might find this a useful study about missing teaspoons.. www.bmj.com/content/331/7531/1498

Same here, every day hey Kath O'Keefe

Same at my work, knives make good coffee stirrers though which is good

In life you will realize there is a role for everyone to meet. Some will test you, some will use you, some will love you, and some will teach you. But the ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it's worth it.

Get to the nearest op shop!

Which is why I have my own personal set of cutlery.

Can I have them for our kitchen where the knives are always the first one to go.. Agree with those though who'd rather see, you know, Brisbane news, than office jokes. Ta.

How long are you willing to line up for cheap fuel?

A service station on the Gold Coast is selling unleaded for 99c/Litre.

This is the line up!

Waste a tonne of fuel and time, in addition to causing traffic chaos. Yep awesome.

Not that long . I have better things to do. Besides, with my luck, they would run out of fuel as I got to the pump. :-)

Not at all. If I see a queue I'm driving on because next station will be near empty, happy to pay a few cents extra and save a lot of time and aggravation.

Ok if you live down Coast. No point driving 50 - 100 km or so just for cheap fuel. End up costing you more in the end.

Filled up for $1.35 at the servo next door to my work. The last servo in Ipswich to put their prices up methinks. Winning.

I don't think all of them are lined up for fuel. Some of them probably think that's the queue for the roundabout 🤣

What's the diesel price? Also why is truck diesel regularly 2cents/L cheaper than the same diesel for my little VW?

Keeping out of a stressful situation in the que is more important to me than a couple of $ at the pump.

Waste of fuel, so oil companies still win.

Poor desperados... I got it cheaper in Brisbane this morning! And didn’t have to queue...

How long before monitoring turns into actioning???? And what about Diesel users ???

Line up for ages to save $36 or do 1 hr overtime to make an extra $36....

Price board says different?

👍

That is not cheap.

Where is this

Where is this

It finished at 1

Not that long.

$1.50+/l. F*ckem.

it was a sad accident....& a narrow lane i dont believe he should b charged.. mayb we should have more support & homeless shelters 😪

Everyone who is blaming the driver how about you drive a garbage truck through that lane way without hitting anything mind you some guy sleeping on the ground. I feel for the guy that died but this is also the fault of the government not looking after our homeless and wasting money to overseas things.

This is why there are hit and runs everyday. When the person does the right thing they are sent to jail!! The other day a woman was hit by a car while illegally crossing. The first driver stopped. But someone else hit and killed her, they didn’t stop. Do you blame them? How could they have avoided the situation when someone is flung out in front of you with no time to stop. And if you stay and don’t run you are put in jail. This garbage truck driver is probably a hard worker. Complete accident. It’s illegal to sleep on roads.

At first place no one should sleep outside on footpath how he knows someone there sleeping it’s footpath not a bed or bedroom

Gosh, looking at the laneway, it makes you wonder how a garbage truck even gets through. Seems like a tragic accident, I hope the investigation finds a true and fair outcome for all involved. RIP to the man who lost his life.

That’s just not right to charge him

think so unfair to charge him

Good, specially when they are saying he drove on the footpath.

Why did he drive onto the footpath in the first place?

Maybe council should be held liable for making their drivers manouver in dangerously small spaces. This lane needs a no parking policy so trucks can even fit safely

I hope you feel horrible #JuliaBishop! You should be spending millions on looking after Australian's (homeless, farmers, etc) not spending millions overseas! Charity starts at home!

If you see the picture it shows the truck parked next to a car in the lane and the only way to get passed to do his job is put the truck up on the footpath. Police have to find someone to charge for a junky alcoholic bum for sleeping illegally in the street... maybe if the government done something to help the bums who cant live in normal society this kind of thing wouldnt happen. The driver was just doing his job and now he's life is ruined because of some bum.

And yet the guy who king hit someone after this “act” has closed a city gets off and taken home by the police gets to go free. But this was clearly an accident gets charged? Say what!!!

Remind me again how Gladys found the safe homeless camp in Martin Place so offensive to her eyes, so she got them moved on into more danger having to resort to this?

Horrible story and outcome for both parties :(

I get that the laneway is small and hard to drive through, but couldn't he SEE a man lieing there?

I'm surprised a truck could fit down there with out being in the oath in places. Sad all round .can't help the dead man to punish the driver to harshly hopefully after court will be recorded as accident and his jobs instated . Ppl get off for way worse and U hope his off with pay

David Rounsevell this country is a bloody joke, a junky sleeping on the footpath can't even wake up when a truck is coming down the road.. Hopefully get the same style judge that let the Paramedic bashers off

Our judges need to have laws that thay follow if no be named an shamed

Hmmmm maybe he was intoxicated or something must have been wrong for him to get charged. Nasty and sad all around..

I feel sorry for this guy.

So sad for all concerned. I feel for the driver, the victim, his family and friends. Such a tragedy.
