Sydney’s most expensive dump

2018-04-17T05:31:03+0000

There was speculation that this may be Sydney’s most expensive dump, and with its $1.41 million sale, perhaps it is.

Why not? WW2 was a horror-fest for everyone, that's literally what the WW means, and both sides although China was invaded by Japan, the Japanese were hurt too, we all bled because of some bad decisions we didn't really know how to make.

Needle in a haystack stuff.... Thankfully the seas were calm, just imagine how hard it would have been to spot a white hull if the seas were choppy! Life jackets, GPS, flairs, just wondering if they had any of these on board, guessing not! Also wonder the cost of the search - 1 x fix wing, 3 x heli, Police, Ambulance, SES

So many prayers went out for the boys return 💕 thank you to all the rescuers involved.

Wow so lucky to be found. Your parents must be over the moon. Well done WAPOL and all involved in this search and rescue. 👍👍

Our rescue service's are amongst the best in the world. Imagine the euphoria when these two were spotted, and when these two young men spotted the chopper from they're little raft! Much love to everyone involved, and to the families, you got you're babies back :)

Great outcome, after a very irresponsible exercise. Well done to the rescuers.

Excellent news... To be honest when I heard about the search, given the boat, and the area, I immediately thought the worst. Hats off to all of the searchers.

Great news. Thanks to all the search and rescue teams. Job well done!!!

Two very lucky boys and one very happy family, great effort by all involved in the search and rescue

The family must be so very relieved. So glad it was a good outcome. Well done to those involved in the search and rescue. Time to hug your kids!

My heart sank hearing the news of them missing on the radio today. So so glad they were rescued . Well done to all involved finding them. Excellent effort. 👍

Great news - glad these two lads didn’t panic - glad we have such great volunteer and employed rescue crews 😊

Wonderful news!! They're very lucky! Great job to all involved!

A wonderful sight for an important occasion. I do think that it would be respectful to use ANZAC instead of Anzac. Bless you all.

How’s Mr Bo Jangles retirement going? Miss him - hugs to them all

NN106 approx 12:10pm today police car illegally crossed the line in a round about almost hitting my girlfriends car and than 100 metres up the road illegally turned right from the left lane from Hester ave entering the Mitchell freeway.

Seeing that noble horse reminds me of the story of "Bill" the Waler during the WW1 campaign in the Middle East.

I wore a Purple Poppy for the Dawn Service in Albany to remember the animals who served and didn't return. It is sad that only one horse returned to Australia.

ANZAC is an acronym used when referring to the Australian New Zealand Army Corps. Anzac however is used when referring to the day, an event, a biscuit etc. Anzac Day, Anzac biscuits. They were correctly using the term. 🐴

As a Defence spouse, I ask you to support our campaign, now with Federal Government bipartisan support and 45,000 signatures combined on two petitions, to honour our Defence Personnel & First Responders Killed-In-Service. Ray Palmer's son was Killed-In-Service in Afghanistan and has an important message.... www.facebook.com/TheProjectTV/videos/10155483511523441/?hc_location=ufi Sign and share the petition: www.change.org/p/national-campaign-recognising-defence-members-first-responders-killed-in-service

I love this section of the Force ❤🐴

How awesome does that look. Well done all. Be safe

Keep safe out there on the roads. You do a wonderful job.

Lest we forget in the morning Remember to have peace around the mother Earth

A marine search and rescue operation is currently underway off the coast near Ningaloo Station.

Update: The search area is approximately 242.5 square nautical miles in size, in the vicinity of 'Point Billie' (which is approximately 10 nautical miles north of Ningaloo Homestead)

The resources being used are three helicopters and one fixed wing Challenger aircraft, all from the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA). Six Volunteer Marine Rescue and Government vessels as well as 12 recreational vessels. There are also 20 volunteers searching along the coastline.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was reported that a 3m inflatable zodiac left South Lefroy Bay at approximately 4pm yesterday afternoon, 24 April 2018.

On board the vessel are two males of 12 and 18 years of age.

They intended to travel south/south-east inside the reef towards Norwegian Bay and were due back by 6pm, however did not return.

Coordinated by the Water Police Coordination Centre in Fremantle, responding to the emergency locally has been Exmouth Volunteer Marine, Department of Fisheries, Department of Transport, Department of Parks and Wildlife, and private vessels.

Volunteers are also assisting with a search of the shoreline. The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) are supporting the search with their Challenger Jet.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Just back from the Armadale Dawn Service, the minute silence was respectful, apart from the 1000 white cockies screaming loudly. Can't get anymore Aussie than that. Lest We Forget.

Australia is not the same anymore... and i can bet that if any of em knew the way this country was going to go not one of em would have fought for the freedom of Australia as it's almost foreign owned and the very people they fought are here plus a lot more.

Lest we forget. Thank you to all who served for giving us the opportunity to be here today.

Proud to be an adopted Australian, and proud of my new Australian heritage! Lest we forget
