In a head-on crash at 56km/h, only one child car seat got top marks

2018-05-17T02:00:09+0000

Only one of 22 children's car seats tested in a Crashlab provided a child with maximum five-star protection against traumatic injuries to the head, neck and torso in a head-on collision at nearly 60km/h.

The Nuna Klik (rear-facing) child car seat was the only restraint to score five stars for the protection it provided in frontal, side and oblique crash tests at speeds ranging from 56km/h to 32km/h.

Just such a cute one.
🐕🐕Fred the Labrador looking after nine ducklings 🐥🐥

Mountfitchet Castle
Nine lives for nine ducklings
Fred the resident dog at the Castle stepped up to the challenge when nine little ducklings became orphaned last Thursday. The ducklings' mum had disappeared and a member of staff found them waddling around the castle grounds alone. The team were very worried about the ducklings but Fred, a 10 year old Labrador, immediately took to them and has been babysitting ever since.

No more Australian cars.

That's brilliant! Both are very easy to spot head on.

Chrysler SRT???? How we gonna be able to tell the good from the bad guys now ?

Expensive to fix and run?????? Beema especislly. 😊

I did see a volvo highway patrol car yesterday. Looked pretty pimp. Xc70 model I think.

B M Trouble U , great .

Wonder if we will see any of them? Police too far & few between on major roads. City & country.

Will be as fast as the fatso's that drive them. 😁

They only use 4 door cars don't they?

Thijs goed opletten in dec en jan!

Hope they are cheap

It was a dark night .... We completed our first night retrieval on our highway landing strip at Shannon's Creek this week!
The Silver City Highway strip, between Tibooburra and Packsaddle, is tough with no moonlight but our pilot Neil Taylor and flight nurse Hillary Murray landed safely.
They were assisted by Leory and Mia from Packsaddle SES who put out our e-flares for light on the highway, and ran up and down the road to clear wildlife such as kangaroos, goats and emus.
