Crime watchdog to probe allegations of assaults in prisons

Allegations about assaults and excessive use of force against prisoners in Queensland's jails have increased over the past three years, the state's crime watchdog has revealed.

Amid rising allegations about prison assaults, the Crime and Corruption Commission is set to hold public hearings.

Yes I think they should have some type of rule or a licence as one day I was driving to work and rounded a bend in the road only to come face to face with an old lady on a gopher in the middle of my side of the road you should of seen her face when I came around the bend. I had to go on the the other side of the to avoid hitting her lucky know one was coming the other way things could of been much worse. I was very happy to see this story tonight. Something defently needs to be done.

If pigs were kept free range instead of in tiny stalls unable to move or get sunlight, then maybe it would be a more reasonable option.
