Comment: Adam Goodes’ treatment both inside and outside Australia’s football stadiums tells us that Indigenous players are celebrated for their sporting brilliance - until they remind us of our past

Adam Goodes controversy a sorry affair for football

Two documentaries are being produced on an episode where football's chiefs failed to adequately back one of the game's greats.

Depends if you are a tree or a woody weed

Out footprint is tiny. There are billions of acres of treed land in Australia...way more than needed if 1 tree feeds oxygen to 4 people...cut it down if it's a danger to anyone. Get real or get off this big Island.

Why do councils let us build homes in dangers heavy wooded areas that tree's fall on homes killed by bush fires, but you must not cut down a trree. So again why let us build in theres places.

Yeah but how much electricity could you provide as a utility pole?

Well l dont know how many trees have been pushed over at the back of my fence all in the name of development bullshit thats what it is

But the do-gooders say you are bad. Oh im so confused

'Gnarly' was recently brought into the Visitor Centre at Innes National Park after being found next to her mother who had sadly passed away. She was so sick that staff didn't think she would make it, but it looks like Ranger Mark has the magic touch with the bottle and she is feeding on the Wombaroo (a lactose-free supplement) with gusto! The joey has been named ‘Gnarly’, due to her tendency to bite the hand that feeds her. Thanks to the Natural Resources Northern and Yorke staff for caring for her. The joey was so sick that staff didn’t think she would survive, but after some initial coaxing and persuasion by Ranger in Charge, Mark Davison, the little kangaroo suckled the Wombaroo (a lactose-free supplement) with gusto! Landscape Ranger Jasmine was also able to give her a vitamin injection.

The joey has been named ‘Gnarly’, due to her tendency to bite the hand that feeds her. Beth from the Visitor Information Centre is now caring for ‘Gnarly’ at her property, where she has settled in nicely and is doing very well.

For information about what to do if you find injured or orphaned wildlife, check out this Good Living blog post - bit.ly/2H6jXnm
