A food recall has been issued for a popular pancake mix at Aldi supermarkets after it was discovered that White Mill Pancake Shake and Pancake Shake Buttermilk contained an undeclared egg allergen. Affected batches have best before dates of: 23/07/19; 24/07/19; 25/07/19; 01/08/19; 02/08/19; 03/08/19 Story: Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) statement: ALDI takes product quality and safety seriously. ALDI wishes to advise all customers of a recall of the above products. The products have been available for sale in all ALDI stores. Problem: The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared allergen - Egg Food Safety Hazard: Consumers with an egg allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if these products are consumed. What to do: Consumers with an egg allergy or intolerance should not consume these products and should return it to the place of purchase for a full cash refund. We apologise for any inconvenience.
