LEST WE FORGET | In commemoration of Anzac Day 2018, we are sharing stories of some of the brave Western Australian men and women who gave their lives in battle in World War I and II.

Flight Sergeant James Pat Steffan (top right) was born in Perth in June 1924 and lived with his parents in Mount Lawley. In October 1942, James discharged from the army and joined the Air Force. Sadly, his aircraft did not return from a raid over Courgent, France on 8 July 1944. James was just 20.

You can search the stories of over 1700 Western Australians on the Honour Avenue Plaques database on our website: www.bgpa.wa.gov.au/kings-p…/…/history/honour-avenues

I’m sure it’s not the only thing to go in her Mouth.

Can’t understand Manu gives the boys a good rapport on there nochi and said it was the best so far and yet some of girls pulled it apart , still what would they no .

Those lips hahahahaha

Forkin hell

Hopefully you will report some real NEWS and that the Parasites at the City of Perth, were paying overtime to staff for handing out parking tickets for people attending the ANZAC Dawn Service for our fallen heroes....... Obviously they need the money to pay for that Maggot Scaffidi's pay while she is suspended again for another year....

If you're looking for something to do after tomorrow's dawn service, why not take a stroll through #BelairNationalPark on the RSL Walk. Look for the remnants of the Japanese cherry plantation planted in 1922 as a living memorial to World War I soldiers and the sequoias planted in the 1960s as a World War II memorial. #NationalParksSA #AnzacDay ...

Thank You 🖒 BiG LoVe To Our ANZAC and Soldier's All around the World❤🕆❤ ..Can't wait to see Australia and New Zealand do the "Haka" at 7am👐

First of all I would like to say, I love Kings Park. I was beyond disappointed prior to dawn service to see the onsite kiosk slugging attendees with a 15% surcharge! This was disgraceful! Even taking into account penalty rates, your client volume was huge and as a business, could easily absorb it. Great ANZAC service overall- disappointing to see the cafe “cash grab”.

National Parks South Australia

Did you know South Australia has it's very own Gallipoli Beach? It's located just north of Coffin Bay in the Thorny Passage Marine Park on Eyre Peninsula. Although it has a similar appearance to Anzac Cove, it’s not the reason why its known as Gallipoli Beach. In 1981, the beach was transformed into Anzac Cove and featured in the critically acclaimed ‘Gallipoli’ movie. #MarineParksMonday | #SAMarineParks | #AnzacDay | Love EP

LEST WE FORGET | In commemoration of the 2018 Anzac Day Dawn Service being held in Kings Park on Wednesday 25 April, we will be sharing stories of some of the brave Western Australian men and women who gave their lives in battle in World War I and II.

Of the 65 nurses who boarded the SS Vyner Brooke as Singapore fell in 1942, only 24 returned to Australia after the single biggest loss of Australian nurses during the two world wars – the Vyner Brooke Tragedy. One of these nurses was Sister Minnie Hodgson. Minnie trained at the Children’s Hospital (which became Princess Margaret Hospital) and later at King Edward Memorial Hospital. Minnie enlisted in 1941 and was Sister in the 13th Australian General Hospital in Singapore. Sister Minnie Hodgson was shot as a prisoner of war at Bangka Island on 16 February 1942. She was 33.
